About KVCH
Kittitas Valley Community Hospital is located in Ellensburg in Kittitas County, Washington, approximately 106 miles east of Seattle. Kittitas County is home to approximately 36,000 people.
KVCH offers 24-hour emergency care, inpatient and outpatient surgical services, critical care, a family birthing center, respiratory care, laboratory, imaging services Home Health and Hospice programs, Home Respiratory and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner programs.
Medical specialties on staff include: Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Ear, Nose and Throat, Oncology, Podiatry, Pulmonology.
Kittitas County Public Hospital District No. 1 operates KVCH with a five-member elected Board of Commissioners. Revenue generated from patient services almost exclusively supports the hospital. Funding for a major addition and renovation, completed in 2002, came from an $11.5 million bond levy approved by the residents of Hospital District No. 1 in 1998.
