KVCH offers a comprehensive diabetes education program under the supervision of experienced diabetes teaching team including a certified diabetes educator, registered nurse, and registered dietitians.

The diabetes education program provides the latest information on nutrition and diabetes self-management training.

Blood Sugar Screenings

Blood sugar screenings have recently been implemented for all surgery patients on the day of their inpatient or outpatient surgery. This free service will provide a proactive search for pre-diabetes and new diabetes cases.
