Patient Assistance Program

If you are suffering from the high cost of medications, you may qualify to receive help with prescriptions from the Patient Assistance Program (PAP).

PAP helps uninsured and low income* patients who have no prescription coverage obtain the drugs they need, free of charge. Many patients are overwhelmed by the extensive application forms they must fill out in order to qualify for assistance - but PAP volunteers can help. The volunteers work with the patient, the patient's doctor, and the pharmaceutical company to fill out the proper paperwork so the patient can get the medications they need.

*Patient must have proof of income

Services include the following:

  • Help with filling out paperwork
  • Getting a written prescription from a physician
  • Mailing and tracking prescription information
It takes about 4-6 weeks to receive medications.
