Respiratory Care Services
Respiratory Care Services at KVCH provides a comprehensive program of pulmonary and cardiac services for inpatients and outpatients. Our highly skilled respiratory therapists (RTs) perform tests to evaluate suspected pulmonary or cardiac disease, provide treatment for pulmonary or cardiac conditions, and educate patients in the specifics of their individualized care.
All RT's are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
Inpatient services include state-of-the-art mechanical ventilation both non-invasive and invasive; and disease specific breathing treatments and modalities.
All diagnostic testing services are available to inpatients and outpatients.
