Seattle is packed full of adventures for all ages and only 110 miles west of Ellensburg. You can catch a Mariners or Seahawks game, shop at Pike Place Market, or grab a cup of fresh-brewed Seattle coffee.

 

Leavenworth is a quaint Bavarian village and popular tourist destination that has something for the whole family; outdoor recreation, shopping, dining and entertainment.

 

Alpine Lakes Region one of the most popular natural areas of the Northwest, hundreds of glacier fed streams and mountain lakes nourish the timbered valleys of the region.

 

Snoqualmie Falls is a natural landmark well known for its spectacular 270 foot cascade, one of the most visited tourist sites in the State of Washington

 

The Summit at Snoqualmie provides 302 acres that are lift serviced for downhill skiing and snowboarding and 825 acres of back-county winter fun for cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing. Avid and novice hikers and bikers enjoy the mountain during the warmer months of summer.

 

Suncadia is a master-planned, premier resort community of 2,000 residential units. The completion of the resort will also feature a mountain lodge with convention center facilities, village center with restaurants and shops, spa, sports center with indoor and outdoor pools, outdoor venue amphitheater, lake with winter ice skating, trails and recreational areas and three golf courses.

 

The Gorge Amphitheatre has been voted the best major outdoor concert venue in North America. The 20,000 seat concert venue is known for its spectacular views, lawn-terrace seating, and nearly year-round clear weather.

 

Washington Wine Country is the second largest premium wine producer in the country and home to dozens of wineries located nearby in the Yakima and Columbia Valley regions. The dry climate, combined with the long daylight hours of the growing season, make the lands of eastern and central Washington prime for wine grapes.

 

Wenatchee National Forest sprawls across 2.5 million acres, encompassing 2,500 miles of recreation trails of varying length and difficulty for hiking and biking. There are low-elevation trails in the sage-covered fringes of the forest, trails in the timbered zones, and high country trails traversing alpine terrain. Horse riders enjoy meandering trails, open pine stands, and many inviting high country areas.
