A team of 14 riders and their support members completed the two-day 200 mile cycle race on Saturday and Sunday, July 14 and 15 to benefit The Foundation at KVCH. STP is the largest multi-day bicycle event in the Northwest, with up to 9,000 participants riding from Seattle to Portland in one or two days. The route takes the riders through the scenic valleys, forests, and farmlands of western Washington and Oregon. The local STP team collected pledges for each mile they rode to benefit The Foundation at KVCH and raised a total of $3,400! The KVCH Team also has received local support from the Recycle Shop and VK Powell Construction of Yakima. Funds collected by the STP team will directly benefit Kittitas Valley Community Hospital. |
Thank you to the 2007 STP Team and Local Sponsors: For more information on participating in this year’s KVCH Foundation STP Team please contact the Foundation office. |
