Magical Evening 2008

The Foundation at KVCH held their annual Magical Evening benefit on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the CWU ballroom.
The black-tie gala now in its fifth year, raises funds for Kittitas Valley Community Hospital. This year’s theme featured a wide array of musical talents from a flute choir that greeted guests as they entered the gala, to a contemporary trio on stage during the social hour, to the headline act of John Pickett and Mia Spencer.

During the social hour guests had the opportunity to purchase tickets for the popular Pick-Your-Prize raffle and wine from the Mystery Wine Grab Bag. The raffle featured 6 amazing prizes that included a Mission Bed Set, a Seattle Package, a Retro Bike, and Laptop and Printer.

The highlight of the evening was the Fund-a-Need event. Auctioneered by Steve Lathrop, the Fund-A-Need was a special part of the Magical Evening benefit that called for direct donations for a specific need at KVCH. Guests at this year’s Magical Evening benefit had the opportunity to assist in purchasing new state-of-the art defibrillators for KVCH.
Total proceeds for Magical Evening 2008 totaled close to $70,000.

Through the support of guests at Magical Evening and the many generous donors to the Foundation at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital, The Foundation has been privileged to distribute over $450,000 in the last three years to Kittitas Valley Community Hospital to purchase equipment to serve the citizens of our community.
