Organ Donation
In compliance with Washington State and Federal laws, it is the policy of Kittitas Valley Community Hospital to seek voluntary consent for organs and tissues for transplantation and to secure appropriate informed consent.
KVCH recognizes the importance of allowing those who wish to do so to have the maximum opportunity to give, providing solace to the grieving family by giving life and happiness to others at the time of the tragedy. The principles of voluntary giving are always to be upheld while allowing autonomy to families of potential donors.
KVCH recognizes LifeCenter Northwest Donor Network, Northwest Tissue Center, and The Northwest Lions Eye Bank as the designated regional organ and tissue procurement agencies.
