Volunteering
Dedicated volunteers at KVCH enrich the lives of patients and are an essential part of the healthcare team. Committed volunteers of all ages and skill levels are needed for a variety of volunteer opportunities to fit individual time schedules, abilities, and interests. Volunteers can also complete service-learning requirements for schools, colleges, and for local agencies.
Mission: The purpose of the Kittitas Valley Community Hospital volunteer is to supplement the services provided by paid personnel, assisting them in the delivery of the highest quality service and care to our patients. A volunteer assists, not replaces, in a service function of the hospital under staff direction and supervision.A volunteer becomes a member of the hospital quality service team.
Volunteering is a non-paid position.

Patient Care Volunteer
Stocking nutrition support for patients
Wednesday~ 10 am - 2 pm
Fridays~ 10 am - 2 pm
Patient Assistance Program
Assist low income patients,referred by physicians, to determine what medications can be acquired through pharmaceutical companies. Some computer skills required. Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.
Monday or Wednesday ~ 1 - 3 pm
