Pharmacy

The KVCH Pharmacy is staffed by a clinical pharmacist from 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. every day and on-call at all other times.

KVCH clinical pharmacists ensure the safe delivery of medication through systematic review of medication orders and the ongoing review of unexpected patient/drug responses. When appropriate, KVCH pharmacists provide patient counseling on the home-administration of medications. KVCH pharmacists also visit local nursing homes to provide medication review and evaluation.
