KVCH welcomes new director of quality improvement

In her new role, she will be responsible for hospital-wide clinical quality measures, implementing quality & patient safety initiatives set forth by the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the Washington State Hospital Association and she will continue to build on clinical quality systems already set in place at KVCH.
“After a nation-wide search, we are extremely happy to have found an exceptionally qualified person to assume the role of the quality improvement director. Rhonda brings a broad-base quality improvement expertise to KVCH and I am looking forward to working with her to build on the next generation of quality performance systems,” Don Solberg, MD, chief medical officer for KVCH.
Holden comes to KVCH with over 20 years experience in clinical nursing, 17 of which were at management or director levels, and she has extensive background in quality management and continuous quality improvement.
Rhonda received her R.N. diploma from Burge School of Nursing, Springfield, Missouri, bachelor’s of science in nursing from Drury University, also in Springfield and her master’s degree in Nursing from Walden University, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
