Sakura Women's Health FAQ
Does
Sakura Women's Health provide obstetric care?
Our
services include pregnancy testing and our practitioners provide support during
the first trimester such as recommendations about routine care and how to manage
early complications that may arise. As your pregnancy progresses, we will provide
you with a list of local providers who offer obstetrical care.
Can
I utilize Sakura Women's Health as my Primary Care Provider?
Our
practitioners specialize in women's health and are not able to act as your primary
care provider (PCP). We work in conjunction with your PCP to assure you receive comprehensive medical care. With your
permission, information about the healthcare you receive at Sakura Women’s
Health will be shared with your PCP. If you do not have a PCP, please check the
Physician Directory tab on this Web site to see who is accepting new patients.
Do
I need a referral to schedule an appointment with your clinic?
In
most cases yearly exams do not require a referral. If you would like to be
evaluated for a woman’s healthcare issue and you are unsure if a referral is
needed, please check with your insurance carrier prior to scheduling to avoid
any unnecessary fees.
